Head Chef for Kungfood in Malmö and Lund

Kungfood is an established Asian restaurant located in Malmö and Lund. We take pride in serving authentic, high-quality Chinese cuisine to our guests. We are now looking for an engaged and experienced Head Chef.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Operations: Plan, organize, and lead the daily kitchen operations, including scheduling for kitchen staff.
- Menu Planning and Creativity: Develop and create new dishes.
- Purchasing and Inventory: Responsible for raw material purchases, inventory control, and price negotiations with suppliers.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure self-control, food safety, and hygiene throughout the kitchen environment.
- Extended Operational Duties: Assist the restaurant owner with overall operational routines, cash reporting, and quality control in the dining area as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a Chinese restaurant is required.
- Specialist Competence: You are highly familiar with and fully independent in the production of handmade noodles, buns, dumplings, and wontons from scratch.
- Languages: Fluent Chinese (Mandarin) is a requirement. Good knowledge of English and Swedish is preferred.
Employment Type: Permanent position.
Salary: Fixed monthly salary. Overtime pay is added according to industry standards.
